MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dean W. Ziegler, MD

Dr. Dean W. Ziegler is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery, with more than three decades of clinical experience. As ZZMed’s Medical Director, he oversees clinical standards, protocols, and patient care.

He completed his orthopaedic residency at Indiana University and advanced fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery at the University of Washington. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons.

Dr. Ziegler is also a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and has completed its Peptide Therapy Training and Certification. His approach combines experience in recovery and performance with evidence-based longevity medicine and physician oversight.

FOUNDER

Zoe Rose Ziegler, PA-C

Zoe Ziegler is a board-certified Physician Assistant and founder of ZZMed. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Chapman University. She has practiced clinically since 2019.

Her work focuses on hormone optimization, gut health, individualized treatment protocols, and comprehensive functional laboratory testing. Zoe’s approach brings together each patient’s lab results, goals, and lifestyle.

An IFBB Professional bodybuilder and one-on-one nutrition and fitness coach, Zoe created The ZZ Method: Look. Feel. Function. She also leads ZZFit and founded ZZHealth, a free health-focused community.
